Outline of Teaching (December 28, 2017)

Inevitably, my teaching is very broadly focussed indeed. Because my official teaching subject is "world history," I end up covering a very wide range of subjects, with a geographic range from the Netherlands to Japan, and a temporal range from the tenth century to the twenty-first.

More generally, this page is concerned to provide information to students concerning my courses, so that they can think about whether they would like to study with me or not. I also include a page here providing advice concerning asking for letters of reference.

I will be on sabbatical from July 2018-June 2019, but starting September 2019 I will be back to teaching.
